Whisk Fern

The Psilotum otherwise known as a Whisk fern is a vascular plant found along the gulf coast region. The plant  is similar to several different fossils found by paleontologists that favor some related plants to the area.  It's subtropical and indigenous to this region as well a southeastern places throughout the United States and Asia.
