Trillium Luteum of Alabama

(Trillium Luteum, Yellow Trillium, Wikimedia Commons, Creative Commons 3.0)

Yellow Trillium is found in many areas of Alabama, Tennessee, and parts as far as Michigan. This plant loves calcium rich soil. It kind of looks like a lemon doesn't it? The color from the inside of the three leaves. This flower is lemon scented unlike the Stinking Benjamin that we mentioned yesterday.
