The Blue Tailed Skank

(Cryptoblepharus egeriae found at wikimedia commons under duh creative commons lol)

The Blue Tailed Skink (cryptoblepharus egeriae) is found in the South Eastern part of the United States. These little critters love cool and quiet places away from everything. They just want to stay away from a crowd. They eat nasty little critters that we don't want around, and if we don't want them around cats can most definitely love them like lizard fearing women do.

This is one of the South's most beautiful animals. They have short stubby legs because they are underneath rocks and leaves eating bugs and etc.

Another little interesting thing about this little cutie is that if you try to catch him by the tail, he can give it to you because he'll grow a spare. Males later lose their blue tail and get a red tummy, females keep their little blue tail.
