The Jemison Weed

     The Jemison Weed is a highly poisonous weed that could take your life. The weed has a pretty trumpet shaped flower, large leaves and a spiny seed pod.  Other names for the weed are Jamestown weed,  Stinkweed, Locoweed,  Moon flower and Madweed.

     The Jemison weed tends to also have the phylum name of Datura Stramonium. The plant comes also from South Africa but indigenous to North America too.

     The Jemison weed has been used for purposes of getting high or drugged up. High doses have killed individuals trying to get effects of hallucinating. The Jemison plant  has been used in teas and many other ways for the effects.

     Carl Linnaeus in 1750's found this crazy plant and it was given the name of Datura. Nicolas Culpepper also gave it more information. The Brit Soldiers used  it when they fought Bacon's Rebellion, I don't think they won. I hope you'll correct me because this gives you the effects of LSD. I wouldn't fight any war with it. It's  poison so don't attempt to try
