The Brazillian Peppertree

(Brazilian Peppertree found at wiki.bugwood.org under creative commons)

The Brazilian Peppertree is found throughout the Southeastern United States. The plant was brought to Floridians in a latter time. The tree is in the same category of Poison Sumac and other itch and rash causing plants. Only difference is that it can grow up to 40 feet. It's similar to another popular tree that one looks for, but this one is a nusance.

The Brazillian Peppertree is a fast grower in our sub-tropic type temperatures. They can multiply in such a short matter of time due to the clusters of red fruit that have seeds that aren't too much eaten. Some animals that are attracted to this plant are the sawfly, and any type of flying insects. The smell is like turpentine .
