Rue Anemone

Rue anemone (rue.jpg)

Rue Anemone is special type of Alabama wildflower. It's less findable than others like catsill, dandelion, asters and other types. Anemones are grown from bulbs and sold by plant businesses that sell tulips, daffodils, narcissus and lilies.

This particular anemone grows in Alabama. It has a tuber root instead of wildflowers like trifolium that carry rhizomes. This flower is a cousin to flowers like daffodils and other lilies  but this is a forest flower. It's a late spring bloomer and has very yellow stamina and petals vary from the whitest white to a violet color.
