Alabama Leather Flower Endangered In North Alabama

The Clematis Socialis leather flower is an endangered flower in northern alabama. It has flowers that are drop pedaled flowers like a lily of the valley. It only comes from the Clematis family that is known for their beautiful flowering vines that are in purplish/bluish blossoms. Many plants such as the Nelly Moser only grow from plantings, transfers and much more. This flower is endangered in the state of Alabama and it is really beautiful so embrace it in its wild.

The "Alabama leatherflower" has a drooping blossom and grows in rich flowers. The plant doesn't look as though it would grow on a vine.
