Ivory Billed WoodPecker

(picture found at Uncyclopedia.com under creative commons law)

This is a beautiful bird that is just about extinct. They are extremely rare and only a few left around Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. Consider yourself extremely lucky to see them because you might not get to see them again.  Reports of the bird was found in Arkansas, but they've been seen in our area prior to that time.
Many people have claimed to have seen this pretty bird, but no one has given complete evidence of getting Ivory Billed Woodpecker information. If you can prove anything make sure you contact a place like Alabama Forestry Commission or Auburn University.
